Hoshi Ryokan, established in 718, is the world's oldest hotel according to Guinness. It has been owned and operated by the same family for 46 generations. The hotel offers hot springs, traditional dishes, and is located just a 5-minute walk from Osshobe Park. The rooms have a traditional Japanese design with tatami flooring and futon bedding, and all have views of the surrounding greenery. The hotel also features a garden, pottery gallery, and amenities such as massages, sauna, and karaoke. Guests can enjoy a Japanese breakfast and multi-course dinner in the dining room, or grab drinks and snacks at the on-site pub and bar. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to JR Kaga-Onsen Train Station, located a 20-minute drive away.
